Ocean City
according to wikipedia: “It is a city in Cape May County, New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the city population was 11,701. In summer months, with an influx of tourists and second homeowners, there are estimated to be 115,000 to 130,000 within the city’s borders. The city, since its founding in the late 1800’s prohibits the sale of alcohol. With that and its 2.5 mile long boardwalk it carries the name America’s Greatest Family Resort.”
according to me: lucky for me I live 5 minutes away from the sunny, clean beaches. my high school, located on the island, is the closet high school to the beach in the nation. the summers are packed, but it is a great place to take kids because it is so fun, safe, and clean. a word of advice though, if you want a more relaxing time without the crowds and hour long lines for boardwalk food, head down to the south end (that’s where all the locals roam).
